The topic of the presentation was an introduction to Web Project Management. The presentation covers the kind of high-level questions one should ask of themselves, their designer, or their team when starting a Web site project. It also covers three Web Project Managment structures taken from three leading publications on the subject.
Note:
The pdf dows not include my notes, as promised, in order to get the file up quickly. I still plan to add the notes and will update the file at that time.

Download .pdf file

Links from the March 4th Meeting

<dc:subject>Blog</dc:subject>

Topic: iWeb

iWeb Test Sites:

Test Site #1 - Hosted on .Mac

Test Site #2 - Not hostest on .Mac

iWeb Links:

.Mac Blog - A blog about all things .Mac

Fiddling with iWeb - An iWeb site created as part of a review, a pretty harsh review that is.

iWeb: A First Look - iWeb Review

iWeb Templates - Learn how to hack iWeb and create your own templates or just modify the existing templates. Not for the faint of heart!

Build custom iWeb templates using iWeb as the editor - Another article on iWeb hacking

Macworld's iWeb Review - Only three mice

iWeb: Differences between publishing to .Mac and publishing to a folder - Apple support info

Publishing a site to a server instead of to .Mac - More Apple support material

Transmit + iWeb - The good folks at Panic reach out of iWeb users

iComment - This guy allows you to add what Apple left out of the iWeb blog template

Apple's iWeb Support pages - The homepage for Apple's iWeb help and documentation

Links from the Feb 4th WebSIG Meeting

<dc:subject>Blog</dc:subject>

Topic: RSS Feeds
Learn About RSS:

The Feed Factory A really nice, simple tutorial on RSS courtesy of the BBC

RSS Quickstart Guide RSS info for beginners

All About RSS More indepth RSS info

RSS DevCenter RSS info and resources for techies

Feed Readers:

NetNewsWire ($25) by Ranchero Software.
